Welsh Slate And Live Oak
This customer wanted to add a strong meaningful feature to the front of their home. Their late father was a welsh farmer and one of their many fond memories as a child was walking through the fields to an old oak tree.
We decided to incorporate that in the design! We found this piece of beautiful welsh slate. We chose to polish the slate to bring out the incredible veins and rich mixture of colours in the stone.
We carefully selected the oak from a lovely mature cut we had in stock, using the lower part of the trunk to get as much character in the live edge as possible.
A meaningful piece that tells a story, creates an impact and built to last!
